Meet our gorgeous girls Charlotte (right) and Peppa (left)!

Peppa was born on a working farm in Wiltshire, destined to be reared for meat. As the runt of the litter, the farmer’s sister bottle feed Peppa, and eventually refused to give Peppa up for slaughter.

She reached out to the sanctuary and we agreed to take Peppa, as long as she would have a companion with her. Charlotte was the lucky chosen piglet, and the two quickly became inseparable.

Hayley continued to hand-rear Charlotte and Peppa at home, and slowly introduced them to the other pigs as they grew. Now, they live happily in the deer park of Woodmancote Place with all of our other pigs!

They are funny little girls who love to explore and have a cuddle! Charlotte is definitely the cheekier of the two, whilst Peppa is more sensible!
