Meet our gorgeous girls Peppa (the pink one) & Charlotte (with the dark markings) !

Peppa had belonged to a farmer in Wiltshire and she was the runt of the litter, so he gave her to his sister to bottle feed. When the time came that she was big enough to go back to the farm, the sister refused because she knew that Peppa would have been killed and sold for meat.

So we answered her plea to take in a 4/5 week old piglet. We didn’t want her to be without a friend, so we asked the farmer if we could buy another piglet destined for slaughter - and that lucky piglet was Charlotte.

The pair became the best of friends straight away. Hayley continued to hand rear them at home, and slowly introduced them to our other pigs. Now, they live happily in the deer park of Woodmancote Place with all of our other pigs!

They are funny little girls who love to explore and have a cuddle! Charlotte is definitely the cheekier of the two, whilst Peppa is the more sensible one!
