Meet our precious Percy!

In April 2023, we received a message from the Surge Sanctuary, who asked if we could provide a home for a young ram they couldn't keep. We gladly agreed and were contacted by a kind lady named Katie.

Katie had gone to great lengths to care for Percy, who previously belonged to a farmer that would give his wife the lambs that were too small for bottle feeding. She regularly came over to bottle-feed Percy and fell in love with him. I mean, who can blame her? - look at that face!

Upon his arrival, Percy appeared rather subdued. We could just tell there was something wrong. We contacted the vet, who suspected he might be suffering from stress-induced pneumonia. He received antibiotics and pain relief, and with time, he made got better.

He is such a sweet, gentle and caring boy. He enjoys human company and a cuddle, but he has made particularly best friends with Hayley’s dog Loki!
